SYNOPSIS

In this project I explore how historical Art Nouveau can meet today’s design trends to create a typeface that celebrates imperfection. The main idea is simple: imperfection can be perfection. Inspired by styles like Chrome Type and influenced by designers such as Stefan Sagmeister, I look at how mistakes, artifacts and irregularities can make design more human and authentic. Ferrofluids were a great inspiration. “New Nouveau” is my attempt to bring all of this together - tech, aesthetics and design.
